Responsibilities
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, lubrication and inspections using equipment manuals and engineering specifications. • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and basic electrical problems. • Disassemble machinery and replace worn parts using hand tools, power tools, hoists or cranes. • Record maintenance work, parts usage and inspection results in the maintenance tracking system. • Keep the work area clean, follow lockout/tagout and other safety procedures, and report recurring problems.
Qualifications
• High school diploma and hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production plant; the supplied role profile describes a typical experience range of one to five years. • Familiarity with industrial machinery, fabrication tools, hydraulics, pneumatics, schematics and blueprints. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity. • Ability to read English work orders and safety instructions and document maintenance activities.
